    In compliance with Federal Data Protection Law (hereinafter the “Law”), its Regulations (herein after the “Regulations”) and the Guidelines for the Privacy Notice (herein after the “Guidelines”), we hereby inform you that that Portilla Ruy-Díaz y Aguilar, S.C. (hereinafter “PR&A”), with address at Córdoba 42, Interior 209 , Colonia Roma Norte, Código Postal 06700, México City, is Responsible for collecting and treating your personal data.

    PURPOSE OF TREATING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

    Your personal data is treated with the following purposes:

    1. Necessary Purposes:
      • Comply with obligations derived from the legal or commercial relationship.
      • Render the services engaged.
      • Evaluate the quality of our service.
      • Follow up on your requests, suggestions and/or complaints regarding services rendered.
    2. Additional purposes:
      • Inviting you to events and/or seminars.
      • Share with you legal news.
      • Provide you any additional information of our Firm.

    In the event that your personal data was not collected directly or personally, please be informed that you have a term of 5 (five) business days to state if you refuse the treatment of your personal data in relation to the additional purposes.

    PERSONAL DATA TREATED

    We collect your personal data directly when you provide it to us through various means, such as when participating in our events, seminars, when you provide us information so that we may render a service or when you complete the contact form in our web page. Personal data collected by PR&A mainly consists in the following: name, address, telephone and email.

    LIMITATION OF USE AND DISCLOSURE /EXERCISE OF ARCO RIGHTS

    To limit the use or disclosure of your personal data and to express your refusal to the treatment of your data, revoke your consent and exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition, you must submit your request to our Privacy Officer, Mr. Ivan Guerrero Sanchez by email to [email protected] or in writing at the address located in Córdoba 42, Interior 209 , Colonia Roma Norte, Código Postal 06700, México City.

    Once you submit your request, we have a term of twenty (20) business days to issue a resolution, which will be notified by the means provided on your request.

    Once the resolution is issued and in case it is favorable (partial or complete), our privacy officer will have a term of 15 (fifteen) business days to adopt the resolution.

    The terms indicated in the preceding paragraphs may be extended once for equal periods if necessary, situation that must be notified by the means of contact established in the request.

    The exercise of the Rights Arco will be free, however if your request reiterates in a period less than twelve months, the costs will be three days of general minimum wage in Mexico City, plus Value Added Tax, unless there are substantial changes to the Privacy Notice to motivate new Requests to Exercise the ARCO rights. You shall cover justified shipping costs or the cost of reproduction of copies or other formats.

    TRANSFER OF DATA

    We agree to not transfer, sell, lease, disclose or use your personal data with third parties without your consent, except such information is necessary or required by federal or local authorities, in terms of applicable laws.

    MODIFICATIONS TO THE PRIVACY NOTICE

    PR&A reserves the right to make changes, modifications and/or to update this Privacy Notice at any time (hereinafter the “Modifications”).

    Modifications will be duly informed through: (i) our website (www.portilla.com.mx), (iii) any other oral, printed or electronic communication means that PR&A deems appropriate for such purpose, and/or (iv) or we will send them to your last email you have provided to us.

    COMPLAINTS

    If you believe that your right of protection of personal data has been injured by any conduct of our employees or our actions or responses, or assume that in the treatment of your personal data there is any violation of the provisions of the Law, Regulations or Guidelines, you may file a complaint before the IFAI, for more information visit www.ifai.org.mx.
